Field Target

Field Target is usually setup on the 50m range outside on a Thursday evening depending on the weather & light conditions. Air rifles of .177 or .22 calibre are used to shoot targets that simulate shooting in the field (pigeon, rat, rabbit & squirrel). Targets of a variety of shapes are used which, when knocked over by hitting a small area, are easily up-righted by pulling a cord rather than having to go down range to stand them up.  This enables shooting without having to stop to reset the targets.   It is shot outside primarily in the summer in fair weather conditions.
