Shotgun Plate shooting is a timed event on speed and skill. Unlike practical shotgun, you are not allowed to shoot above waist height. Using section 1 shotguns - able to be loaded with more than three cartridges - the shooter has a series of targets, or plates, which must be knocked down while shooting strong and weak hand, through small windows, round barricades etc., as well as from standing and kneeling - all shot against the clock and supervised on a one-to-one basis by a range officer throughout the course of fire.
This section, like others in the club, is active with away shoots, Bar-B-Q's and other social events.
